Taylor Barr is a senior communication major from Marietta, Ga. majoring in communication with a concentration in theatre and math. Barr is involved in Lab Rats Comedy, WMSV, and props for Theatre MSU’s production of “Macbeth”. He is also the founder of The Midnight Bizarre and serves as president of the Blackfriars Drama Society. Barr plans to one day to work on designing at Cortland Repertory Theatre in Cortland, New York, or become a playwright, director, designer, or actor.

Lacretia Wimbley received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Print & Digital Journalism in 2016 from Mississippi State University. Wimbley grew up in Jackson, Miss., and she now resides in Denver, Colo., where she is a Justice Reporter at Colorado Public Radio.

Christine Bowman Murray received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations in 2015 from Mississippi State University. In 2016, Murray earned her Masters of Science in Public Relations from Boston University. Murray grew up in Jackson, Miss., and she now resides in Gulfport, Miss., where she works remotely as a Senior Demand Marketing Manager at ADP, Inc.

Sarah Rendon is a senior communication major from Starkville, Miss., majoring in communication with a minor in political science and a concentration in communication and media studies. Rendon is involved in Music Maker Productions, served as a New Maroon Camp counselor and director, and served as an ACCESS peer mentor. Rendon plans on attending a graduate program to receive a Master’s in Public Policy or Public Administration. She hopes to one day work for a policy organization that works to enact real change in our country.

Norman is involved in the Broadcast Education Association and Black Student Association. In the future, she plans to work at a news station as a sports reporter and work her way up from there.

Allyn Hackman is a senior communication major from Madison, Miss., majoring in communication with a concentration in theatre. Hackman is involved in Alpha Psi Omega, Blackfriars Drama Society, Theatre MSU and The Scene. After graduation, Hackman plans to go to professional screening auditions at SETC to look for acting gigs. If that doesn’t work out, she will find a “9-5 job” elsewhere and participate in regional and community theatre.

Anne Marie Lundy is a senior communication major from Jackson, Miss., majoring in communication with a concentration in public relations. Lundy serves as an ambassador for the TK Martin Center, is a member of Kappa Delta sorority and a student worker for the Office of the Mississippi State President. Lundy is currently studying for the Law School Admissions Test and hopes to start law school in the fall of 2023. After finishing law school, she hopes to move to Washington to work toward benefitting the state of Mississippi.

She is also interested in looking for a career in publishing or editorial.
