Emma Crouch

Emma Crouch is a senior communication student from Saltillo, Miss., majoring in political science and communication with a concentration in public relations.
Crouch is the vice president of membership for the Roadrunner recruiting organization on MSU's campus, a member of Kappa Delta sorority, and she is a member of PRSSA and Pre-Law society. She was previously involved in College of Arts and Sciences Ambassadors, Brickfire Mentorship Program and Fashion Board.
In the future, Crouch hopes to become an attorney and work in either criminal prosecution or corporate law. Crouch has been an intern in Washington, D.C., for the past two summers, working for Congressman Trent Kelly in 2022 and for Pinkston, a strategic communications firm, in 2023.
Why communication?
I have always had a heart for service, and I knew that I wanted a career that allowed me to work with and help people daily. Majoring in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations has given me the opportunity and experience necessary to pursue these goals.

Advice for incoming communication students?
Take advantage of the advice your professors and peers have to offer! The insight I have received from those in the Department of Communication has been instrumental to my academic success at MSU, and I can confidently say I would not be where I am today without their support.
Best advice you’ve received from a professor?
"Everyone has the same 24 hours in a day, so 'I didn't have time' is not a valid excuse."

The Drill Field and the Dawg House!
