by: Caroline Dewberry, PR student intern
Elizabeth Keen, a junior from Vicksburg, Miss., is majoring in communication with a concentration in broadcast and digital journalism. Keen is involved in the Shackhouls Honors College and The Reflector. In the future, Keen plans to work as a sports broadcaster or a journalist.
Keen was nominated by her professor Philip Poe, who said “Elizabeth is a great example for Communication students because she balances success in the classroom with success in the real world. Her stories for Cowbell Corner are must-reads. She is an expert on MSU Athletics and has a bright future in sports journalism ahead of her.”
